Etna Ascent | from Taormina, Catania, Messina | Maximum 8 hours

A short drive takes us to the main visitor elevation on the slopes of Mt. Etna (at 1.900 meters | South Side | Rifugio Sapienza). Those interested in experiencing the Etna craters will have the option to purchase cable car tickets (Cable Car Tickets up to 2.800 meters: not included) on the spot (weather and volcanic conditions permitting) to experience the lava fields and incredible landscape view from Europe�s highest and most active volcano on their own. This afternoon, return to your hotel/port/villa.

How to Ascent to the TOP?
from Rifugio Sapienza you can take the cable car ride up to 2.500 meters (Montagnola). Upon arrival at 2500 meters you can walk around or hiking or just take on your own a cappuccino. Then on board on the UNI-MOG (jeep WD4X4 30 seats) to reach 2.800 meters with Etna Guide (Cable Car & Uni Mog fee: eur 55,00 per person payable on the spot)
