Rail Information
The Palermo rail station
is PALERMO CENTRALE. For more information on the train lines,
you can surf on the "TRENITALIA"
site (the Italian Rail Company).
IMPORTANT:
very close to the Palermo rail-station (Stazione
Centrale) is the BUS-STOP for the main Sicilian cities. WE
HIGHLY RECOMMEND using the Bus Company in Sicily INSTEAD OF
THE TRAINS. This is because the buses are much faster and much
more comfortable.
BUS
From Palermo there
are
several connections to the main Sicilian cities like
Catania, Messina, Syracuse, Agrigento and Ragusa. The main Bus
stop is a short walk from the Palermo rail station and
located in Via Balsamo.
