PALERMO to TAORMINA (West to East)
Stopover: Agrigento & Piazza Armerina 
Today meet our staff (Meeting Point: to be advised at time of booking) we drive through the interior of Sicily to reach Agrigento. Upon arrival we visit the finest of all ancient Greek sites—the complete Doric Temples (Admission Fee: not included). Later we continue to Piazza Armerina. On arrival light-lunch at country restaurant. This afternoon we view the ruins of the Roman Villa of Casale (Admission Fee: not included). The mosaics discovered here are celebrated among scholars of antiquity. Then continue to Taormina (drop-off: to be advised at time of booking), the resort town of Sicily. (L)

TAORMINA to PALERMO (East to West) 
Stopover: Piazza Armerina & Agrigento   
Today meet our staff (Meeting Point: to be advised at time of booking): Then we drive to reach Piazza Armerina where we will view the ruins of the Roman Villa of Casale (Admission Fee: not included). The mosaics discovered here are celebrated among scholars of antiquity. This afternoon continue to Agrigento. On arrival light-lunch at country restaurant.
