Today meet Chef Donna Patricia directly in Palermo center, then walk with her through the open air market, heritage of the Arab culture in Sicily, rich in amazing colors, sounds and smells and full of stands of fresh fish, fruit, vegetables, spices and other. Take part of selecting the freshest seasonal ingredients in anticipation of creating a delicious meal.
On the way to the cooking studio you’ll enjoy a pleasant walk through Palermo experiencing the stunning, Baroque beauty of its architecture. Palermo is without a doubt one of the most interesting artistic cities of the Mediterranean Sea.
Arriving at the house, you are welcomed to the kitchen with a refreshing glass of Sicilian white wine while you unpack your market purchases and discuss the menu that lay ahead of you.
Get ready to cook two main courses (a pasta dish and a dish based on meat or fish), Caponata - the most famous of Sicilian side dishes - and a dessert. At the end of the cooking course, enjoy your own made lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine, to choose from 6 different ‘in purezza’ wines, especially selected for their importance to Sicilian cuisine and to perfectly match your delicious food: Nero d’ Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Frappato, Grecanico, Insolia, Grillo or Catarratto (“in purezza’ means that they are not blended wines).
Once back home you will impress family and friends replying these Sicilian recipes!
We only use fresh and seasonal ingredients to ensure authenticity and because of this the menus prepared will be in accordance with seasonal and market availability. All of our dishes are based on the more historically important Sicilian recipes, focusing on pasta, fresh fish/meat, vegetable dishes and delectable sweets.
Throughout the centuries, Sicilian-style cooking has been strongly influenced by conquerors, kingdoms and many different cultures (Spanish, Greek and Arab) resulting in a delicious blend of styles and flavors found nowhere else in Italy. Unique, fresh with powerful flavors, it’s a fact that Sicilian cooking is widely known as one of the premier cuisines in all of Italy.
Chef Donna Patricia will guide you through each course explaining the tradition behind each dish and its importance to Sicilian cuisine.

Send us all Your details by filling in the automatic form - no payment is required at this stage - Your booking will be in pending as long as we will confirm the availability. If available, the tour will be confirmed and we will charge the total amount on Your credit card. As per our policy, the payment is needed to guarantee the booking.
APPOINTMENT WITH OUR STAFF:
The appointment with our staff will be set in Palermo city center 15 minutes before starting the cooking course/walking tour. All details will be shared at time of booking.

- The cooking course is provided with minimum 2 and maximum 14 clients.
- The cooking course is not provided by a professional Chef.
EXCURSIONS | CANCELLATION POLICY:
-Total refund up to 15 working days before arrival
-25% of total amount won’t be refunded from 14 to 10 days before arrival
-50% of total amount won’t be refunded from 9 to 6 days before arrival
-75% of total amount won’t be refunded from 5 to 3 days before arrival
-100% of total amount won’t be refunded from 2 to the day of the services or after (No refund for no show).
