Meet the Team - Tour of Sicily

TourofSicily.com began as a joint web venture between Chat & Tour and: Tradizione Turismo —Travel Agent–, SDG —Sicily Driver Guide— and Sicily Incentives.

Chat & Tour specialise in strategically shaping businesses and brands. Chat & Tour become a home-brand where all the assiciated are conencted.

Tour of Sicily set up its in-house DMC —Destination Management Company–, which worked on delivering research findings and ideas in a more engaging way.

This service soon became popular with clients thanks to the lovely Tripadvisor Reviews since 2012.

Tour of Sicily obtained the Official License in April 2001 from the Sicilian Tourist Board.

We started to work with USA and Japanese Markets

Travel Exhibitions have indulged us to start to work with international markets.

We launched SDG –Sicily Driver Guide– and we started to buy our car and van to use for our customers.

All the services have been provided with our team of polite and reliable drivers.

We launched SI–Sicily Incentives– and we started to create unforgettable team buildings and conferences.

Several world-famous companies have organized services in Sicily with us and continue to have lasting and reliable agreement.

We launched BOS–Best of Sicily– and SC –Sicily Concierge– Travel Departments in code-sharing with Louis Mendola, an American-Sicilian writer and author of several books.

Louis Mendola, one of Sicily’s foremost medievalists, and one of the very few whose work is known beyond Italian borders. Having researched in Italy, Britain, Spain, Germany, France and the Vatican, he has been consulted by The History Channel, the BBC and The New York Times. Read by millions internationally, his online articles have made him one of the most popular Sicilian historians of the present century.
