If your desire is to know the essence of Sicily in one day, this tour is perfect for you! We will let you discover the highest volcano of Europe, and than, one of the most famous and elegant city of Sicily.

In 2003 the Mount Etna was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The charm of Mount Etna enchants numerous tourists both in summer – when it is possible to visit active craters and to walk in the Parco dell’Etna’s woods and orchards – and in winter – when it is possible to ski and to practice several winter sports. Near the Rifugio Sapienza (2000 mt. Height) you can explore dormant volcanos and to have an hot meal in front of a wonderful landscape.

After the exploration of Sicily from the volcano, the second stop is the shining Taormina. The city is located upon a promontory.
Here you will enjoy amazing panoramic views: from Calabria to Mount Etna. There are two gates of the city: Porta Catania and Porta Messina. Along the medieval alleys of Taormina every corner smells of Sicily: you can eat traditional food, drink fresh-squeezed juice of local citrus, buy Sicilian souvenir and admire the beauty of sea.

The most important archaeological site in Taormina is certainly the Greek Theatre, not only for its historical-architectural value, but also for the scenographic position. We suggest to pay the entrance fee and visit the Theatre on your own.

Near the Greek Theatre, the Villa comunale deserves to be visited: inspired by English gardens, here you can find several exotic plants. From its terrace you will enjoy a breath- taking view over the sea: a postcard to keep forever in your heart.
